We're SimplyFunded — a UK-based lender that's grown fast by keeping things simple, fair, and focused on results. We provide short-term, flexible loans to SMEs and have built a strong broker network in the UK by being easy to work with and always delivering.
Now we're expanding into Australia, and this is your chance to be our first hire on the ground. You'll have real influence over how we grow here, with the backing of an experienced team in the UK and Philippines.
The Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, loves sales, and wants to play a big part in shaping a new market for us. Day-to-day you'll be:
- Onboarding and managing brokers across Australia.
- Driving a steady flow of deals through those broker relationships.
- Acting as our eyes and ears in the Australian market.
- Working closely with our credit, processing, collections, and accounts teams (all the back-end support is covered).
- Reporting directly to the CEO.
At first you'll be working from home, and once we've established a footprint, you'll be working from the office.
Who We're Looking for:
- Proven experience in SME lending, commercial finance, or asset finance (think Prospa, OnDeck, Capify, Lumi, Bizcap, Shift, Banjo, etc).
- Strong background in working with broker networks.
- A natural salesperson — quick to learn, self-driven, and motivated by closing deals.
- Someone who wants to be part of building something new, not just slot into a big corporate machine.
