What you'll be doing
- This tertiary level clinic requires the audiologist to effectively and professionally perform a large range of specialised measures involved in the diagnosis of hearing loss and other auditory conditions, on an often complex and difficult-to-test population.
- Management of the patient and families involving the liaison with a wide range of agencies and consultants to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes for patients and families, especially in the broad multi-cultural environment we serve.
- Clinical supervision and support to Level 1 and 2 audiologists.
- Provision of education to Professionals and Students.
- Be able to act as a clinical consultant on an ad hoc basis.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Audiology with Full Membership (or eligible to be) of Audiological Society of Australia and Clinical Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability in clinical skills with a variety of age groups.
- Electrophysiological skills an advantage.
- Previous involvement in research and quality activities an advantage.
- Permanent resident.
