About Us
Oriem is a fast-growing company that supplies concrete steel reinforcement, accessories, and tools to the concrete construction industry.
We're looking for a Trade Counter Salesperson / Store Person to join our Penrith branch — someone passionate about customer service and excited to be part of a supportive team.
What You Can Expect in This Role
- Sales – over-the-counter sales, phone sales, quoting, customer development, and general admin
- Customer Service – maintaining a professional, tidy, and friendly presence
- Stock Management – stock receiving, order picking, order loading, and warehouse organisation
- Computer Skills – using basic systems to manage orders and customer requests
- Housekeeping – keeping the branch and vehicles clean and organised
- Deliveries – assisting with local customer deliveries
- Teamwork – embracing Oriem's values, policies, and procedures while supporting your team
Hours
- Monday – Friday: 6.30am – 4.30pm
- Saturday (fortnightly rotation): 7.00am – 11.00am
Our Ideal Team Member
You don't need prior industry experience — we provide on-the-job training. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Customer service experience (an advantage)
- Confidence, initiative, enthusiasm, and ambition
- A current full driver's licence (essential)
- General computer skills (essential)
- Forklift licence (advantage, but not required)
