Workfast is looking for an Experienced Counter Sales/Store Person to join our team in in Auburn NSW. This job is an ongoing casual position with full-time hours for the right candidates. The rate of pay is $36/hr + Super.

About you

Candidates must have 1-2 years experience as a Counter Sales/Store Person. All candidates must have good reading, numeracy and technology skills.

The numbers

  • $36/hr + Super
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am to 3:00pm

What you need

  • Possess strong work ethic, professional, and a self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to make positive contribution within the team
  • Good planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Basic numerical skill and good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trade background, air-conditioning or building industry experience highly desirable
  • Forklift license required

What you will be doing

  • Direct customer liaison and provide exceptional customer service to all clients
  • Process orders entries and complete all dispatch documentation
  • Control of orders in line with customer requirements
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely orders and deliveries
  • Handle local deliveries and pick-ups effectively and safely
  • Ensure Company equipment and facilities are well maintained and in good working condition
  • Safely hand loading and unloading of freight
  • Physically fit, as there will be some container unloading
