This is an opportunity for a personable and motivated lawyer (2+ years PAE) to join our high-performing commercial transactions team.

The ideal candidate will be ready to take on the day-to-day running of transactions alongside our senior lawyers, for our client base of large privately-owned businesses.

CORE WORK TYPES

  • Advising on commercial transactions for medium to large family-owned businesses.
  • Working alongside senior lawyers in reviewing and advising on transaction documents.
  • Negotiating the terms of transaction documents.
  • Assisting in the day-to-day running of transactions and readying transactions for completion.
  • Taking a leading role in managing smaller transactions and other commercial work.
  • Providing general commercial advice and documentation.

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

  • Minimum 2 years' post admission experience in commercial law. There is flexibility for the level of seniority in the role, but our team requires someone with the capability to hit the ground running.
  • Transactional experience - ideally in commercial transactions, but we'll consider applications from other backgrounds.
  • Dedication to high client service delivery.
  • Ability to autonomously manage client relationships and files through to conclusion.
