What you'll do

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to Provide state-wide complex technical insurance advisory services to Queensland Health, including Hospital and Health Services, the Department of Health, and Queensland Ambulance Services.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Has highly developed knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards that apply to the general insurance industry.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply and interpret relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Demonstrates ability to interpret contract documentation and meaningfully engage with technical/specialist stakeholders (e.g. legal practitioners).
  • Demonstrates ability to identify, investigate, analyse, interpret, and evaluate insurance and risk-based information for the guidance of clients, undertake research in relation to technical matters, and present this information and advice in a way that is easily understood and applied by the client.
  • Demonstrates high level analytical, conceptual, and problem management skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of technical requirements and systems within a complex insurance environment.
