About the role

As a Program Officer, you'll play a vital role in the Student Services Transformation Program by providing high-level administrative support. You will have the opportunity to coordinate meetings, liaise with senior executives, and ensure effective information flow, all while managing competing priorities with professionalism and initiative. This role offers you the chance to develop valuable skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and Schedule Meetings: Manage meeting logistics, including agendas and documentation, in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Provide High-Quality Minute Taking: Accurately record discussions, decisions, and action items during meetings.

  • Maintain Records and Track Actions: Ensure timely follow-up on action items and maintain comprehensive meeting records.

  • Support Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior executives and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Who we are looking for

You are a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, adept at managing administrative tasks and engaging with senior stakeholders to support program objectives.

You will also:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

  • Demonstrate experience in high-level administrative support and minute taking.

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exhibit strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
