As a Project Officer in Student Program Development, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and deliver student-facing services and events that enhance student engagement and success. You will collaborate with Student Success colleagues to develop and implement programs at scale, ensuring timely messaging and impactful experiences for students. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to student-centred initiatives and build valuable partnerships across academic divisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Large-Scale Events: Lead the provision of input for major events like Orientation Week and Discover Unimelb.

  • Develop and Implement Programs: Plan and evaluate student engagement initiatives aligned with Student Success goals.

  • Enhance Student Services: Deliver services that improve the student experience through varied formats and collaborations.

  • Create Student-Facing Resources: Develop communications for events, social media, and online platforms.

You may be a great fit if:

You will have experience in student services with a strong understanding of academic issues, and demonstrate excellent communication skills and collaborative abilities to enhance student engagement and success.

You may also:

  • Have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrate experience in planning and delivering student programs in a tertiary setting.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

  • Be adept at working collaboratively across teams and applying adaptive reasoning.

  • Have experience in service or workshop design for high-quality student experiences.
