The Account Manager - International - is responsible for developing and executing plans to drive the expansion of the company's export activities.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing plans to drive the expansion of the company's export activities
  • Managing and growing existing international distributor relationships while identifying potential new distributors
  • Managing direct retailer agreements with retailers and distributors based internationally to ensure profitable outcomes
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities, and perform a critical assessment of the businesses' international competitive landscape
  • Coordinates with brand marketing teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with marketing initiatives, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely fulfilment and delivery of products
  • Manages the international export forecast and overall P&L, both internally and externally, to identify and establish new business opportunities in international markets

Experience Required

  • FMCG experience is a must
  • Strong commercial capabilities - both financial and data analyses
  • Ideally you have managed export markets (advantage, not a must have)
  • Experience managing distributors (either locally or internally)
