Position Overview
We're seeking an Internal Accountant with an HR background to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on accounting functions while also contributing to HR-related activities and client communications. It's ideal for professionals who want to broaden their skills and thrive at the intersection of finance, HR, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and preparation of financial reports
- Prepare and send invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments in a professional manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, acting as a key point of contact for finance-related queries
- Assist in developing and improving finance procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support HR processes such as employee onboarding/offboarding, personnel file management, and leave administration
- Act as a communication bridge between finance and HR to support smooth company operations
- Participate in cross-departmental collaboration to enhance processes and drive organisational development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CA preferred)
- At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or HR
- Some experience within the IT or technology sector is highly regarded
- Technology savvy with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and software
- Familiarity with financial management procedures and commonly used accounting software
- Previous experience in HR (e.g., recruitment, employee lifecycle management, employee relations)
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently engage stakeholders and clients
- Strong attention to detail, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to multitask
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments
