Location: Chatswood RSL Club
Are you ready to lead with purpose and make a real impact in gaming compliance and patron wellbeing? Chatswood RSL is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Gaming Department as Gaming Supervisors / Responsible Gambling Officers.
This full-time role blends frontline gaming operations with leadership and regulatory responsibilities, offering a rewarding career path in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise gaming staff and operations during shifts
· Step into RGO duties as required, ensuring compliance with NSW gaming laws
· Monitor patron behaviour and respond to signs of gambling harm
· Maintain the Gambling Incident Register and manage self-exclusion processes
· Promote harm minimisation and responsible gambling practices
· Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) obligations under the AML/CTF Act 2006
· Identify and report Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and Threshold Transaction Reports (TTRs) to AUSTRAC
· Support the venue's AML/CTF Program, including risk assessments, staff training, and record keeping
Legal Compliance Requirements:
· RGOs must be present whenever gaming machines are operating
· Between midnight and 8am, at least one RGO must be dedicated to RGO duties
· RGOs must complete Advanced RCG (ARCG) training
· RGOs are protected under law when reporting harm minimisation breaches
What We're Looking For:
· Completion of RCG & ARCG courses
· Minimum 12 months experience in Club Gaming (Poker Machines, Keno, TAB, Banking)
· Strong technical knowledge of poker machines
· Proven leadership and training skills
· High attention to detail and commitment to legal compliance
