ABOUT US:

BODA Building Group is a growing construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Perth. We are currently seeking motivated Apprentice Carpenters (all years) to join our team. Whether you're just starting your apprenticeship or already partway through, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

THE ROLE:

This is a full-time role with ongoing on-site training, providing exposure to a variety of carpentry tasks across multiple projects. You will work alongside qualified tradespeople and gain valuable experience in all carpentry works such as framing, fix-outs, cladding, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist carpenters with daily construction tasks (1st Year / 2nd Year / 3rd Year)
  • Perform carpentry: framing, eaves, fit outs, cladding, wall and roof installation
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Participate in site preparation and clean-up
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members
  • Complete formal training and vocational education requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A strong interest in carpentry and construction
  • Willingness to learn and work hard
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
  • Good basic maths and measurement skills
  • Driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Positive attitude, good communication, and teamwork skills
