Skill Hire is currently looking for motivated individuals to join our Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. As a GTO, we provide support, training, and development opportunities to apprentices and trainees, ensuring a successful career path in the trades.

We have multiple opportunities both north and south of the river in metropolitan Perth specializing in Roof Carpentry and Formwork.

**Wages**:

- Standard wages:_
- 1st year (has not completed year 12): $15.55
- 1st year (has completed year 12): $16.86
- 2nd year (has not completed year 12): $18.17
- 2nd year (has completed year 12): $19.48
- 3rd year: $22.09
- 4th year: $26.02
- Adult Wages:_
- 1st to 4th year: $26.17

**Responsibilities of an Apprentice Carpenter**:

- Use hand tools
- Work out calculations
- Climb on roofs
- Build or renovate homes
- Read and interpret plans
- Keep the work site tidy
- Bring positive energy and support your team

**Requirements**:

- Driver's license
- Construction White Card or working towards one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
