Are you hands-on, enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, and want to build a long-term career in the construction industry?

GetCareers is currently recruiting for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to undertake a Carpentry Apprenticeship with an established and reputable local business in the Perth Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time opportunity to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Carpentry.

About the Role

As a Carpentry Apprentice, duties may include:

  • Assist in planning and constructing timber frameworks, floors, roofs, and ceilings
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials
  • Help install timber floors, doors, windows, and other fittings
  • Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Support the creation of timber components and structures for new builds and renovations
  • Follow safety procedures and work alongside experienced carpenters on-site

What We're Looking For

  • Physically fit and enjoys working both indoors and outdoors
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to learning a trade
  • Works well as part of a team and follows instructions
  • A Manual Driver's Licence is essential
  • A White Card is essential
  • Willingness to complete the apprenticeship while working full time

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must reside in the Southern suburbs of the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Women are strongly encouraged to apply
  • 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentices are also encouraged to apply
