Operations Coordinator

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator – Workforce Planner to join our Operations team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced security environment.

Duties include:

• Prepare, manage, and maintain rosters for multiple sites and departments.
• Coordinate with Site managers and supervisors to address staffing shortfalls, leave coverage, and urgent shift fills.
• Respond to roster change requests and manage last-minute changes or cancellations effectively.
• Maintain accurate employee recordings including, availability, qualifications, and site requirements.
• Liaise with recruitment and HR teams to onboard new employees and integrate them into the schedule.
• Generate and distribute weekly or fortnightly rosters in a timely manner.
• Monitor shift attendance and escalate any non-compliance or no-shows, as necessary.
• Support payroll processing by ensuring roster accuracy and timely data entry.
• Availability to work rotating weekends.

Skills and experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in rostering is preferred.
• Working with the Security Services Industry Award (MA00016)
• Strong organisational skills and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and frontline staff
• Flexibility to work on rotating rosters including weekends.
• Current National Police Check
• Victorian Security License (Highly Desirable)
• Strong ethical standards and personal integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
