Job Description

As a Transportation Coordinator with Expeditors you will take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate pick up and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver. You will provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards. You will communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your customers.
  • Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentation, customer billings and system updates accordingly.
  • Service Provider Relationships: As a Transportation Coordinator you will build strong partnerships with multiple Service Providers ensuring your clients is serviced to a high level, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing for your service providers.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full working rights in Australia
