Katoomba Foods is a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience in Australia. We are proud to be one of the country's largest importers and distributors of Indian, Middle Eastern, and Asian foods.

Today, we import from more than 25 countries and operate state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facilities across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join our growing sales team and manage both new and existing clients across Queensland. The role will focus on servicing independent retailers as well as fruit and vegetable outlets, with an emphasis on upselling our extensive product range.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow their career in FMCG sales. We welcome candidates seeking either full-time or part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets in order to maximise an organisation's sales and customer loyalty
  • Directs and evaluates marketing strategies
  • Establishes distribution networks for products and services, and initiates market research studies
  • Establishes organisational policies and procedures in relation to sales and marketing
  • Conducts regular data analysis and measures campaign performance against predefined metrics
  • Leads sales teams in building relationships with clients and manages the negotiation of sales contracts
  • Assesses the marketing potential of new and existing store locations
  • Determines price schedules and discount rates

Skills, Experience, and Attributes

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for sales with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience (FMCG experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic team environment
  • Fluency in Hindi will be highly regarded
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a car for regular travel across Queensland (car allowance provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
