This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the Yarra Valley's most distinguished restaurant and cellar door destinations, celebrated for its award-winning cuisine, exceptional wines, impeccable service, and warm hospitality. Sir Paz Estate combines refined indoor dining with a breathtaking alfresco setting, offering an unforgettable experience that captures the very essence of the Yarra Valley.

Trading daytime only (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), this role reports to our Venue Manager and offers a rare balance of professional challenge and quality of life within the hospitality industry.

Sir Paz Estate hosts exceptional events that contribute to its success and prestige. While the primary focus of this role is to oversee and maintain restaurant operations, it also offers exposure to our events and wedding business, supporting venue revenue and professional growth. The position includes a work-from-home component with flexible mid-week arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Restaurant & Events Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring a diverse team, training & demonstrating service excellence
  • Managing all group booking and event inquiries including estate tours
  • Managing cost budgets and venue financial performance
  • Implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with chefs to further our leading position
  • Day to day restaurant operating procedures & guest services
