Job DescriptionHow you'll make a difference
This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne and is offered as a 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave.
- Drive the coordination and management of all resources across the bid lifecycle - ROI, tendering, interview preparation and debriefs to deliver high-quality, large and complex submissions.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and SMEs to translate complex technical offerings into clear value propositions, persuasive messaging and compelling tender, proposal and capability content.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight timeframes, applying exceptional time management, project planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
- Ensure all submissions reflect high editorial quality, client focus, commercial integrity and consistent alignment with AECOM brand and best-practice pursuit standards.
- Collaboration across diverse teams, sharing knowledge, leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency, and supporting colleagues to elevate their pursuit and proposal capabilities.
The qualities that help you thrive

- 5–6 years' experience in proposal or bid management roles (e.g., Proposal Specialist, Bid & Proposal Partner, Tender Specialist, Pursuit Partner)
- An appropriate tertiary qualification (degree in Law, Journalism, English, Marketing & Communications or similar)
- Exceptional written, verbal, and client communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines with strong project management capability
- Flexible, resilient, and able to perform effectively under high-pressure deadlines
