We are a well-established and financially secure builder/developer, with a strong pipeline of developments and we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our construction team. In this role you will be reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager and you will be responsible for delivering premium, award-winning projects on the Gold Coast. The role is for an immediate start, and you will become part of a highly-experienced construction team.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Plan, Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, quality, safety standards and programme
  • Lead, manage, mentor and support a team of supervisors and safety officer including effective delegation.
  • Early planning and reviews of drawings and specifications in preparation to mitigate any potential delays , resolve &/or coordinate design improvements and issues driving quality, buildability and efficiency.
  • Enforce and follow company safety management system as well as fostering and promoting a positive safety culture among on our sites.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 4+ years Site manager experience
  • Medium to high rise residential apartment building projects or similar commercial construction environments highly regarded
  • Excellent leadership & people management skills, highly collaborative, Strong communication skills and ability to build excellent working relationships with the team and external contractors.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Passionate about the Construction Industry
  • Strong work ethic, Outcome Focused, proactive and ability to take ownership.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification desirable but not essential
  • Prior use of Procore desirable but not essential
