Senior People and Culture Business Partner — Financial Services (CBD, Sydney)

Following a period of strong results and global growth, you will join a high‑performing People & Culture team reporting into the Chief People Officer as their
2IC
to drive and deliver strategic interventions across
talent engagement & performance, organisational development & design, total reward and employee relations, change and projects.

This role has a broad strategic and operational P&C remit.

    circa $220,000
    (for the ideal candidate)

About the role

  • Act as a true business partner to a sophisticated client group, working consultatively to drive better business outcomes through practical, high‑impact People/HR solutions.
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end people interventions that support growth and performance, including workforce planning, org design, performance management, reward strategy and ER.
  • Provide trusted counsel to senior leaders and help translate commercial priorities into people strategy and measurable outcomes.
  • Work at pace with analytically minded stakeholders who value clear, confident communication and strategic problem‑solving.

About you

  • Proven experience in a business‑facing People & Culture partnering role within a fast‑paced organisation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of people practices and relevant employment legislation, with hands‑on experience designing and delivering HR interventions.
  • Comfortable influencing senior and executive stakeholders and operating across both strategic projects and operational people matters.
  • You thrive working with high performers and can balance pragmatism with strategic thinking.
  • Qualifications:
    Degree in Human Resources or relevant qualifications.
  • Ideally built experience within top‑tier organisations in
    private equity, investment banking, financial services, management consulting or technology.
