About the Role
Our Class Actions practice area is the largest in Australia and we are leaders in the field. We have recovered more than $5 billion for groups, individuals, shareholders and businesses that have suffered loss due to illegal behaviour by large corporations.
Join our exceptional team at our Melbourne CBD office in an exciting full-time, permanent role. We're seeking applications from:
- junior lawyers with litigation experience from a top-tier or mid-tier firm or equivalent litigation role within a government or not-for profit legal environment; and
- recent law graduates with strong academic credentials
Junior lawyers and recent law graduates with an undergraduate degree in a technical field such as commerce, engineering, data analytics or science are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key Selection Criteria:
- 0-3 years post admission experience;
- A strong academic record
- Passion for Class actions
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to multi-task;
- Demonstrated ability of achieving excellent client outcomes
- Strong legal technical skills
- Demonstrated decision making skills
- Data literacy, the ability to read and interpret large volumes of data with an eye for detail
- Excel competency with the ability to develop these skills to an advanced level
- Strong communication, time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a large team
