About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven
Personal Injury Lawyer
to join our dynamic legal team in
Melbourne
. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, advocating for clients who have suffered physical or psychological harm due to accidents, negligence, or misconduct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal injury claims including motor vehicle accidents, workers' compensation, public liability, and medical negligence.
  • Provide sound legal advice and strong representation for clients during all phases of litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Draft legal documents, negotiate settlements, and appear in court or tribunal when necessary.
  • Liaise with medical professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders to support clients' claims.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case management records using legal software.

Requirements

  • Admission as a legal practitioner in Victoria and a current Australian practising certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years PQE in personal injury or litigation law.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Victorian legislation, including TAC, WorkCover, and Wrongs Act matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Empathetic, client-focused approach with outstanding communication and organisational abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience with LEAP or other case management systems.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with class actions or complex liability claims.
