Paralegal (Class Actions)
Gordon Legal is currently seeking a group of passionate and dedicated Paralegals to join our close-knit Class Actions team in our Melbourne office, on a casual basis. As a member of our team, you'll work alongside like-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about advocating for class actions and making a real impact.
At Gordon Legal, our commitment to social justice drives everything we do.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and class action members to gather and convey information.
- Gather facts, documents, and evidence.
- Assist with discovery requests and coordinate document production.
- Maintain and search databases.
- Liaise with clients, law firms, barristers, court staff, insurers, experts, and other third parties.
- Draft court documents and prepare and compile briefs, letters, and correspondence.
- Prepare for trials and coordinate trial logistics, including witness materials and other supporting documents.
- Assist in coordinating conferences and mediations.
- Prepare memoranda, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or administration is required.
- Preferably completed Torts.
- Prior experience in class actions is strongly regarded.
- Knowledge of court rules and procedures.
- Ability to perform legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise workload, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and exceptional client service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care.
- Well-organised and consistently completes projects on time with great attention to detail.
- Technology-savvy and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
