Associate to Senior Associate – Class Actions

Gordon Legal is seeking a committed and experienced Associate to Senior Associate to join our Class Actions team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact litigation in a firm driven by social justice and a strong sense of purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and practical legal advice to clients and group members
- Lead and support the conduct of complex class action litigation
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, and court documents
- Manage discovery and evidence in large-scale proceedings
- Prepare briefs for counsel and liaise with experts
- Engage with group members and stakeholders with empathy and professionalism
- Contribute to litigation strategy and case development
- Mentor junior lawyers and graduates within the team
- Participate in class action events and firm initiatives
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in class actions, ideally on the plaintiff side
- Strong litigation and advocacy skills, with experience in Federal Court practice
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and client-focused outcomes
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented culture
