Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

Audacity Australia is looking for a bookkeeper/office administrator to join our team We are a family-owned and operated distribution business in the consumer electronics industry. Our close-knit team prides itself on reliability, quality, and long-term customer relationships. We are now seeking an experienced bookkeeper/office administrator to join us and become an essential part of our day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for both financial and office administration, while being the first point of contact for our customers and partners. Your key responsibilities will include:
Bookkeeping & Accounts Support
- Processing invoices, payments, and remittances.
- Supporting the accounts team with reconciliations, reporting, and general bookkeeping tasks.
- Experience with accounting and inventory systems is required. Knowledge of Cin7/DEAR and Xero is highly regarded, though training can be provided if experience is with other systems.
Order Processing & Customer Management
- Entering and managing customer orders in our system (experience with Cin7/DEAR highly regarded).
- Updating orders with shipping and tracking details.
- Creating and maintaining customer accounts.
- Liaising with customers, sales, accounts, and operations to provide updates on order and invoice status.
Reception & Office Administration
- Acting as the first point of contact for phone calls and enquiries, and directing calls.
- Managing office supplies, filing, and general office coordination.
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks to support the wider team.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven bookkeeping experience and strong knowledge of invoice processing.
- Experience with Xero (highly regarded).
- Experience with Cin7/DEAR (highly regarded, or willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong phone manner and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating different systems.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
