About us
The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role
This role is essential for maintaining smooth and efficient running of the office, handling a variety of duties such as data entry, preparing documents, managing correspondence, coordinating fleet and facilities, and providing general office support.The Administration Officer collaborates closely with the CEO, Heads of Department and the Executive Assistant to assist with diary management, travel arrangements, meeting organization, internal communication and staff events
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support across diverse operational areas.
- Proficiency in coordinating operational functions such as fleet management, facilities oversight, and executive support within an organisational setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and build mutually beneficial relationships.
- Ability to organise internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Senior Executives with diary management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements and logistical coordination.
