MECCA is currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator & Functional Consultant to join our Digital team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role You Could Play
The Salesforce Administrator & Functional Consultant is responsible for administering, maintaining, and enhancing the Salesforce platform while also acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.

This role ensures Salesforce remains stable, secure, and efficient, while enabling continuous improvement by understanding requirements and designing and delivering functional solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong technical platform expertise with functional consulting skills to optimise Service Cloud and related applications in support of business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer Salesforce environments, oversee security, data governance, integrations, and ensure reliable system performance
  • Configure and optimise Case Management, Service Console, Knowledge Base, and SLAs to enhance agent productivity and customer experience
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Salesforce features, and deliver projects and enhancements
  • Act as the key Salesforce expert, providing clear updates and technical input in workshops and process mapping
  • Work with vendors, ensure quality delivery, and support CI/CD deployments and system integrations
  • Maintain functional/technical documentation, embed best practices, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to BAU support
  • Provide advanced Salesforce support, lead incident resolution and post-mortems

What You Will Bring
You will be an experienced Salesforce professional with strong Service Cloud expertise and a proven ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring a customer-first mindset, and are confident collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • 3+ years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Functional Consultant
  • Hands-on expertise with Service Cloud, including case management, omni-channel, knowledge base, and SLAs
  • Strong skills in Salesforce configuration, automation (flows, workflows, process builder), and data management
  • Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL, platform tools, and understanding of Salesforce integrations (e.g. CTI, Amazon Connect, ERP, Marketing)
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AppExchange solutions, with exposure to Einstein Bots and Next Best Action
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure pipelines) and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Salesforce ADM201 certification - preferred
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Loyalty Management, or advanced reporting - Highly desirable
