Your Role

As a Graduate Estimator at GRC Buxton, you'll gain direct exposure to Melbourne's construction market and be mentored by an experienced team on projects ranging from $10M to $150M+. You'll be involved in:

  • Preparing cost plans, take-offs and trade break-ups from architectural and engineering drawings
  • Assisting with tender submissions for D&C and hard dollar contracts
  • Sourcing and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Participating in risk reviews, value management, and tender interviews
  • Collaborating closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Directors

What You Bring

  • A degree (or near completion) in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related or;
  • Certificate IV Building & Construction
  • Trade based qualification (Carpentry)
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong numerical skills
  • Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
  • A keen interest in estimating and the commercial construction process
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
