About the Role
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide compassionate, specialised care to women and pregnant people undergoing first and second trimester terminations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-termination consultations for both medication and surgical options.
- Providing aftercare services to support optimal client outcomes.
- Delivering direct nursing care for clients undergoing second-trimester procedures, both pre- and post-operatively.
- Overseeing the delivery of nursing care in line with CALHN and Pregnancy Advisory Centre policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the overall management of the Pregnancy Advisory Centre and nursing staff.

About You
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Registration with the Nursing Board of Australia or eligibility to register, with a current practising certificate.
- Proven ability to provide comprehensive care, support clients from diverse backgrounds, and assess staff competence while promoting team learning.
- Experience in person-centred care for women and pregnant people, with a strong background in perioperative and clinical settings.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, nursing standards, quality improvement, and aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of care.
