As Branch Manager with our BCS Cairns branch, you'll bring together people, process, and performance, ensuring the branch runs smoothly, meeting its compliance obligations, and delivers a service committees and owners can genuinely trust. Leading with clarity, accountability, and maintaining resilience.
What you'll do:
• Coach, guide, and develop your team. Setting clear goals and growing capability.
• Oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and audit standards.
• Translate divisional goals into local plans with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Manage budgets, track performance, and make sound decisions to achieve profitability.
• Model strong judgment and problem-solving in complex or high-pressure situation. Build confidence and trust with clients through clear communication and responsive service.
• Lead through change, competing demands, and emerging issues.
• Foster a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a customer-focused, compliance-driven environment (property, facilities, banking, insurance, or customer operations).
• Strata experience is a plus, but we'll support your learning through a structured onboarding.
• Proven ability to guide people, balancing accountability with empathy. Confidence managing risk and compliance in a regulated service-based industry.
• Strong understanding of what good service feels like for committees and clients. Financial and commercial awareness. Comfortable managing budgets and business results.
• Strategic thinking. Able to translate goals into plans and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Sound decision-making under pressure, with resilience and adaptability when priorities shift.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience using CRM/workflow platforms to manage operations and reporting.
