About the Company
 The Cairns RSL Sub Branch provides vital support, camaraderie, and advocacy for current and former serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families. Deeply embedded in the local community, the Cairns RSL Sub Branch promotes remembrance, delivers welfare programs, and organises commemorative events and initiatives that honour the service and sacrifice of veterans.  
About the Role
 This diverse and busy position plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch and coordinating a diverse range of events and marketing activities. Working closely with the President, Secretary, and a dedicated team of volunteers, you will be responsible for planning and delivering events, managing social media and communications, and promoting the Cairns RSL Sub Branch 's community-focused objectives.
This is a rewarding and varied position suited to someone who is organised, people-focused, and passionate about community engagement and veterans' welfare.
Key Responsibilities  
- Coordinate and deliver Cairns RSL Sub Branch events, receptions, and commemorations.
- Manage event logistics, marketing materials, and public relations.
- Develop and maintain volunteer and event databases.
- Prepare and distribute media releases, articles, and digital content.
- Maintain and update the Cairns RSL Sub Branch website and social media platforms.
- Grow online engagement and community awareness of Cairns RSL Sub Branch activities.
- Source sponsorships, donations, and partnerships to support fundraising initiatives.
- Provide professional reception and administrative support to the team and members.
- Assist with daily operations, including volunteer coordination and communications.
