Digital Advisor

We are seeking a motivated Digital Advisor to join the Office of the Hon Chris Minns, MP, Premier. You will identify media opportunities across social and digital channels and develop creative, audience-focused campaigns that communicate the Government's policy priorities and initiatives to the people of NSW. You will work closely with a high-performing team to produce and deliver digital content and campaigns that tell the stories of NSW. Position is based in Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies for social media, digital platforms and earned media.
  • Create, edit and deliver multimedia content (video, graphics, photography, short-form social).
  • Identify trending storytelling opportunities and champion new ideas, tactics and formats.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise content based on insights.
  • Work collaboratively across the Office to shape messaging and amplify priority initiatives.

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience working on digital campaigns and social media strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of major social platforms and what performs on each.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Photography and/or videography experience.
  • Initiative and a clear instinct for what engages audiences online.
  • Team player who is willing to pitch in across tasks and support colleagues.

Desirable experience

  • Experience in influencer marketing and running end-to-end influencer campaigns.
  • Experience providing staff support for high-profile individuals at events and on the road.
  • Experience working effectively in high-profile or politically sensitive settings.

Salary: To be negotiated.
