About LEVO

LEVO is a strategic design and technology consultancy that puts people at the centre of all solutions. Our mission is to empower people through technology, a mission we fulfil by

executing

across three pillars of experience: brand, customer, and employee. With expertise across creative, data, technology, strategy, and change management, LEVO helps clients conceive, build, deploy, run, and operationalise new technologies, experiences, and product solutions.

Who are Advisory & Consulting?

LEVO's Advisory & Consulting team helps organisations reimagine and realise what's possible in the digital era. We partner with clients to define strategy, shape transformation roadmaps, and architect future-ready customer and technology ecosystems. Our expertise spans digital transformation, MarTech, eCommerce, and operating model design — enabling clients to unlock value, optimise performance, and build internal capability for sustainable change.

Purpose of the Role

The Principal Digital Strategist/Advisor, Advisory & Consulting is a senior leadership role within LEVO's Advisory & Consulting division. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, the role provides strategic guidance across digital customer experience, marketing technology, and eCommerce ecosystems.

This role leads complex client engagements that span digital strategy, transformation roadmaps, and business case development — helping organisations translate their customer and business goals into executable digital initiatives.

They will work closely with LEVO's Experience Strategy team to ensure that digital strategies and customer experience visions are seamlessly connected and underpinned by pragmatic technology pathways. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in digital strategy and architecture, complemented by the ability to apply a CX mindset when shaping solutions and recommendations.

Additionally, there is an expectation of exceptional thought leadership to support improved operations and go-to-market strategies for the organisation, as well as leading teams on internal initiatives to develop and create marketable frameworks, methodologies, and focus areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Advisory and Strategy Leadership

·      Lead strategic engagements with senior client stakeholders to shape digital experience, technology, and data strategies that drive measurable outcomes.

·      Develop and deliver digital transformation strategies, roadmaps, and investment business cases, aligning technology capability with business ambition.

·      Provide thought leadership on emerging digital, MarTech, and eCommerce trends, advising clients on how to unlock customer and commercial value.

·      Partner with the Experience Strategy team to co-develop integrated digital and CX strategies, ensuring alignment between experience vision and enabling platforms.

·      Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for senior clients navigating complex transformation programs.

2. Digital Ecosystem & Solution Oversight

·      Guide the definition of digital ecosystems, including CMS, MarTech, eCommerce, CRM, and integration platforms.

·      Translate strategy into practical architecture principles, vendor options, and execution pathways without being hands-on technical.

·      Lead technology assessments and vendor selection processes; provide recommendations that balance innovation, cost, and scalability.

·      Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure that digital and CX strategies are realised through effective execution and governance.

3. Engagement & Leadership

·      Lead end-to-end advisory projects — from discovery and definition through to strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and executive presentations.

·      Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions, and strategy forums that engage both business and technology stakeholders.

·      Oversee quality of deliverables across engagements; ensure alignment to LEVO methodologies and client expectations.

·      Mentor consultants and digital strategists, fostering strategic thinking, consulting capability, and leadership growth.

4. Business Development & Practice Growth

·      Partner with the Practice Director and LEVO leadership team to identify and shape new client opportunities.

·      Support business development and go-to-market initiatives, including proposals, capability presentations, and thought leadership content.

·      Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior client executives and technology partners.

·      Contribute to the evolution of LEVO's digital advisory frameworks and methodologies, expanding the practice's strategic capability.

The ideal candidate

·
Extensive experience in digital strategy, transformation, or customer experience consulting (typically 10+ years).

·      Strong understanding of MarTech, eCommerce, and digital experience platforms, and how they enable customer and business outcomes.

·      Experience developing digital roadmaps, investment business cases, and transformation recommendations for enterprise-scale organisations.

·      Working knowledge of CX strategy and design, able to collaborate with CX experts and integrate customer insights into digital planning.

·      Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders, framing strategic options and driving consensus.

·      Broad technical literacy across digital platforms and enterprise architecture principles (without needing to be hands-on).

·      Demonstrated success in business development and practice growth within a consulting or advisory context.

·      Leadership experience mentoring teams or leading multidisciplinary project groups.
