Job Description

The Director, Renewal Sales – ANZ will partner with Sales to guide conceptualization and implementation of the area renewal strategies and secure sustainable renewal pipeline with enterprise level customers.You will lead an enterprise renewal team, partnering with multiple Sales leaders to develop the renewal strategy and processes.

This role plays a critical part in driving customer retention, optimizing revenue growth, and enabling expansion opportunities, while partnering cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Sales Operations, and other internal teams.The Renewals leader will focus on the achievement of renewals targets while keeping a teaming approach in their engagement with ANZ Account Sales leadership.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Lead and develop a team of Enterprise Renewal Account Managers focused on delivering predictable, timely renewals and uncovering expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts.
  • Ensure that Renewal procedures are understood and implemented across the teams
  • Manage the ANZ renewal process to maximize revenue growth for ServiceNow and to achieve our sales/revenue goals.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to ensure understanding of our go-to-market for sales/renewals programs.
  • Provide clear role clarity for team members, linking team objectives to broader business priorities and ensuring strong alignment across departments.
  • Deliver insights and performance metrics that help the ANZ sales organization focus on renewals execution, customer success, and growth planning.
  • Engage with the operations team to establish analysis of trends and performance to identify greater efficiencies and achieve operational excellence.
  • Work with our Professional Services and Alliances/Channels team to increase growth and expansion through our partners.
  • Assist Sales or Renewals reps and leadership with renewals negotiations.
  • Lead plans to support renewals, working with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance
  • Partner with broader Renewals organization to create global programs that ensure continued success of the renewals program and the team at large.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Renewals, Sales or Customer Success leadership – preferably in a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years success leading a team or other managers.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing teams focused on customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs and business goals.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to partner effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
  • Demonstrated success in working with C-level executives and complex enterprise customers.
  • Ability to operate strategically while managing day-to-day execution with precision.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A deep understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle, customer lifecycle management, and recurring revenue models.
  • A growth mindset – someone who is humble, curious, and eager to learn and lead in a dynamic environment.
