Overview

Director, Renewal Sales – ANZ role at ServiceNow. Location: Millers Point, New South Wales, Australia.

What You Get To Do In This Role
  • Lead and develop a team of Enterprise Renewal Account Managers focused on delivering predictable, timely renewals and uncovering expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts.
  • Ensure that Renewal procedures are understood and implemented across the teams.
  • Manage the ANZ renewal process to maximize revenue growth for ServiceNow and to achieve our sales/revenue goals.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to ensure understanding of our go-to-market for sales/renewals programs.
  • Provide clear role clarity for team members, linking team objectives to broader business priorities and ensuring strong alignment across departments.
  • Deliver insights and performance metrics that help the ANZ sales organization focus on renewals execution, customer success, and growth planning.
  • Engage with the operations team to establish analysis of trends and performance to identify greater efficiencies and achieve operational excellence.
  • Work with our Professional Services and Alliances/Channels team to increase growth and expansion through our partners.
  • Assist Sales or Renewals reps and leadership with renewals negotiations.
  • Lead plans to support renewals, working with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance.
  • Partner with broader Renewals organization to create global programs that ensure continued success of the renewals program and the team at large.
Qualifications
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Renewals, Sales or Customer Success leadership – preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years success leading a team or other managers.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing teams focused on customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs and business goals.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to partner effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
  • Demonstrated success in working with C-level executives and complex enterprise customers.
  • Ability to operate strategically while managing day-to-day execution with precision.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A deep understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle, customer lifecycle management, and recurring revenue models.
  • A growth mindset – someone who is humble, curious, and eager to learn and lead in a dynamic environment.
