The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in driving our people strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with all HR and industrial relations requirements across Australia.

Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee the HR function nationally, providing leadership and guidance to regional HR teams, and partnering closely with senior leaders to align workforce strategy with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the national HR team to deliver effective HR services across all states.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned to business goals.
  • Oversee employee relations, industrial relations, and workplace compliance matters.
  • Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on HR, IR, and people-related issues.
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and learning & development programs.
  • Foster a strong organisational culture that reflects company values and supports employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, NES, WHS, EEO and other legislative requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 10+ years proven experience as a HR Manager/HR Business Partner at a national level.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach, and drive change in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience in security, facilities management, or service-based industries (highly regarded).
