The Opportunity:

AEMG is seeking a visionary Human Resources Manager to lead cultural transformation and talent strategy during an exciting phase of organisational evolution. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds from the ground up, and inspires change across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support AEMG's international growth and organisational goals
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes across global teams

  • Drive performance management, professional development, and succession planning initiatives

  • Design and launch new HR programs and frameworks from scratch

  • Partner with leadership to embed values of innovation, inclusion, and agility

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices across jurisdictions

  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace wellbeing programs

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR with strategic priorities

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in HR leadership, ideally within higher/vocational education sectors

  • Proven success in driving organisational change and cultural transformation

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building HR structures in evolving environments

  • Experience in international education or multicultural workplaces is highly desirable

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and global HR practices
