The Role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced
Sales Lead
to drive revenue and profit growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients at senior levels within their organizations. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans aligned with global, regional, and local sales and marketing strategies, while ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete Account Management lifecycle, developing and executing strategic account plans in SFDC to achieve annual performance targets.
  • Drive revenue growth by developing Client Engagement Plans that expand Weatherford's product and service offerings to new and existing customers.
  • Oversee tender development and response processes, ensuring highest quality submissions while addressing budget considerations and technical specifications with clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and extensions in conjunction with Technical Sales and Sales VP/Director, maintaining up-to-date SFDC records and liaising with legal as necessary.
  • Deliver presentations to clients, participate in industry forums and marketing events, and maintain strong relationships with client representatives at senior levels.
  • Manage client commercial arrangements to ensure best value and long-term viability while addressing client expectations and problem job communication.
  • Assemble and disseminate market intelligence including gathering client feedback to strengthen Weatherford's market position and identify opportunities.
  • Generate and monitor revenue targets through quarterly reviews with Sales VP/Director, taking action to identify and address revenue gaps for target achievement.
  • Oversee business risk areas and ensure mitigation strategies exist, while ensuring all commercial processes are applied through TPMS for maximum efficiency.
  • Facilitate contract handover meetings with key stakeholders, generate contract summary sheets, and review contract performance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of industry experience with minimum 2 years in industry sales required.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with strong understanding of tenders, contracts, negotiations, and high margin/profitability achievement.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to understand and tailor service offerings to meet or exceed client requirements.
  • Sufficient business acumen to enable opportunity evaluation and effective prioritization of strategic initiatives.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client presentations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects under tight schedules while remaining composed under pressure.
  • Familiarity with latest sales management techniques and technology platforms including SFDC and XAIT-Porter.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%) with office-based work environment.
