Genso Japanese Bar & Bistro is a modern Japanese restaurant located in Moss Vale, NSW. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our professional kitchen team.

Position: Full-time Cook

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese dishes with consistency.


• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items as per recipe specifications.


• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.


• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.


• Work effectively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.


• Ensure all menu items are prepared accurately and according to customer preferences and dietary requirements.


• Assist with menu development and daily preparation tasks as required.


• Work efficiently during high-pressure periods to meet customer demand while maintaining food quality.

Requirements:


• at least 1 year of experience as a Cook (Japanese cuisine experience highly regarded).


• Must holds a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery


• Strong knowledge of Japanese cooking methods and ingredients.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.


• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
