ABOUT US

Flowcrete are an established manufacturer of truck mounted, line and trailer pumps to the concrete pumping industry of Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking to employ a mechanically minded (preferred but not essential) individual for the position of our company purchasing officer for the production team. You will need to display a high level of computer knowledge along with proven ability to interpret parts efficiently while instilling confidence in our suppliers and production team.

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

  • Ensure all parts are ordered and available as required by the Production and Service Team.

  • Coordinate the storage and allocation of parts to the Production & Service Team.

  • Dispatch of spare parts to the production team and branches using appropriate couriers.

  • Use our internal system in all purchase orders and transferring transactions.

KEY SKILLS

· Minimum two years experience in a similar position, desirable

· Excellent computer skills, with an ability to learn quickly

· Excellent phone & personal manner with friendly, positive attitude

· Demonstrated organisational and time management skills

· Excellent English, verbal and written communication skills

· The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

KEY ACTIVITIES

· Monitor parts stock and coordinate new orders with the Production Manager and Spare Parts Officer

· Carry out all purchase orders and invoices using our ERP system.

· Ensure all parts are dispatched as per needs or branch orders.

· Issuance of parts to the Production and Service Team.

· Reconcile supplier accounts daily for end of each month reconciliation

· Minimise 'out of stock' situations, with continuous monitoring of stock

· Ensure store is tidy and clean and maintained to a high standard of organisation
