The role
Based in Toowong, as our new Corporate Governance Administrator you will be providing executive level support to the Company Secretary and Corporate Governance team. Your work in this essential role will help keep our governance operations running smoothly and professionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on attention to detail, enjoys working with senior stakeholders, and takes pride in ensuring high standards of governance are upheld.
Position Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and prepare materials for board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers and action items.
- Maintain company registers, reporting tools and governance documentation.
- Support compliance processes by assisting with audits, policy reviews and regulatory requirements.
- Be the key link between the governance team, the Board, executives and wider business units.
- Provide timely administrative and research support, ensuring information is accurate, confidential and delivered on time.
What experience you'll bring
We're looking for someone who can balance professionalism with approachability, and who thrives in a busy, detail-driven environment. You'll bring:
- Experience supporting board or committee functions (scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing deadlines with ease.
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Ideally, a sound understanding of governance frameworks, legislation and best practice compliance.
- At least 3 years' experience in a governance or combined governance/legal role.
