You will be responsible for end-to-end management of Board and Sub-Committee activities, production of high-level reporting, and ensuring the smooth operation of governance processes.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive and senior leadership, manage critical documentation and reporting, and contribute to the delivery of strategic priorities that shape the future of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead board performance appraisals and contribute to key reports such as the Chairman's Address for the AGM.
  • Manage Diligent Boards software and ensure governance resources remain accurate and accessible.
  • Assist with strategic priorities, projects, and financial reporting inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in governance systems, processes, and documentation.

About You

You are a confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a governance-focused role. You have strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, (especially written), and the ability to foster trusted relationships with Boards, executives, and stakeholders.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience working with Boards of Directors or senior leadership in a governance capacity.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management, corporate governance or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience across multiple business functions.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation and reporting at an executive level.
  • A very strong eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and team-oriented approach.
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance, business continuity and quality improvement.
  • You will be self-sufficient and have a "lets get on with it" attitude and style.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in an organisation that values respect, integrity, compassion, and empathy. You'll be working closely with senior leaders and the Board to shape governance and strategy while ensuring operational excellence.
