Established in 1882, Kincoppal-Rose Bay, School of the Sacred Heart is an Independent Catholic Day and Boarding School (ELC-12) located in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

We are now inviting applications for a Permanent Part-time Transport Coordinator. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to undertake a range of administrative and operational tasks related to our Transport Services for our students and staff.

The role:

  • Part-time position. Hours and days are flexible (i.e. 3 days a week, or 4/5 days a week, working shorter hours)
  • Works during term time only, plus a few extra days during the school holidays
  • Manage the transportation services (i.e. bus services to and from school, excursions, to and from sporting commitments, etc)
  • Create and manage documents, workflows, and inboxes
  • Conduct research, analysis, and project work as directed
  • Process expense claims and invoices
  • Provide logistical support and work in collaboration with other teams to plan and coordinate other internal and external events, programs, and system upgrades
  • Provide administrative support for digital tools and platforms
  • Undertake other duties as required

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, and has the ability to prioritize with limited direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in making suggestions for process improvement
