Driver/Yardman

We're a small team in a family owned and run business, committed to helping customers get their job done Able Hire is an equipment and vehicle hire company in Kirrawee. We have over 40 years experience with a wide variety of equipment ranging from saws and jackhammers up to bobcats and excavators. We help anyone from home handymen to builders, landscapers and more find the best tools to complete their jobs effectively.

Role requires:

  • Driver's Licence (LR or above is a bonus but not required)
  • Experience operating at least some of our range of equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically fit for some heavy lifting
  • Availability to work 2-4 days per week, including 2-3 out of 4 Saturdays (3 days per week)
  • Overtime opportunities available as well as above award wages
  • Steel cap boots and black work pants

Duties include:

  • Check-in and check-out of equipment, trailers and vehicles
  • Loading and unloading equipment for customers
  • Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and vehicles
  • Instructing customers of the safe operation of equipment
  • Connecting and disconnecting trailers for customers
  • Delivery and pick up of equipment around the Sydney Metro area
  • Tidying & maintaining the yard

Expected hours: 15 – 34 per week
