About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Revit Services Draftsperson to join our dynamic team on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality Revit services designs for fire system installations with a strong focus on fire electrical services detailing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the design team to produce detailing BIM modelling to ensuring design specifications and standards are met.
  • Develop and coordinate Revit models for fire electrical systems, including cable trays and equipment layouts.
  • Create and manipulate Revit families for fire detection devices.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and project manager, and clients to meet design specifications and project deadlines.
  • Perform clash detection using Revizto and resolve coordination issues with other disciplines using Revit.
  • Review and update existing models and drawings as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Revit services drafting (electrical or fire systems experience is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including the ability to create and manipulate families for electrical systems.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD for 2D drafting of equipment
  • Experience with clash detection tools (Revizto) and workflows within Revit.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to new systems and software.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills; detail-oriented and thorough in your work.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
