We're now searching for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Sutherland team — someone who's passionate about cars, people, and performance.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing the daily operations of our workshop floor, ensuring seamless workflow between the front-of-house and our skilled technicians. This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for a qualified technician or ex-technician who understands the technical side of the job but thrives on motivating a team, maintaining standards, and creating an efficient, positive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating daily workshop operations and job allocation

Maintaining quality control and technical oversight on all repairs and services

Supporting, mentoring, and developing technicians to reach their full potential

Collaborating closely with the Service Advisors to ensure smooth communication and job flow

Monitoring workshop efficiency, productivity, and performance metrics

About You

You'll be a confident communicator and a natural leader who takes pride in maintaining high standards.

We're looking for someone who:

Is a qualified automotive technician (Cert III minimum)

Has prior workshop management or leading technician experience

Demonstrates strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability

Understands workflow planning, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Has a proactive, solutions-based mindset with a calm and professional approach

Values teamwork and believes in continuous improvement
