A leading Clinical Trials organisation is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee its expanding operations and ensure continued excellence in trial delivery. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling a high-performing business and strengthening its operational backbone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across clinical trial functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board to implement strategic plans through operational execution.
  • Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and performance metrics to support growth.
  • Strengthen relationships with sponsors, CROs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless trial delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team capability.

About You: We're looking for a pragmatic and experienced operational leader with deep knowledge of clinical trial delivery. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational role within Clinical Trials.
  • Strong understanding of trial logistics, regulatory compliance, and site coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial and resource management expertise.
