Our client is a high-growth alternative lending business with ambitious targets and a mission to transform access to capital for its partners. With a strong culture of performance and innovation, the organisation is targeting $1B in annual settlements by 2026 and is on a clear path to achieving significant growth in both scale and impact.

We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work closely with the CEO and leadership team, taking ownership of daily business execution and implementation of the company's strategic objectives. This role is central to scaling operations while delivering exceptional service and outcomes to lending partners across the full customer lifecycle.

You will lead cross-functional teams across credit, funding, systems, and customer operations, ensuring the business hits key milestones in profitability, customer satisfaction, and loan book growth. The COO will also play a key role in coaching and developing talent, instilling high-performance culture, and championing operational excellence through technology and systems.

We are looking for a candidate with a background in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development. This role requires a commercially minded, execution-focused operator with experience in credit, lending, or fintech environments. You will combine sharp strategic thinking with a strong ability to drive outcomes, lead a high-performing team of four direct reports, and build scalable infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. Strong financial acumen and the ability to work closely with external capital partners are essential.
