Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester with a strong background in data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating data integrity across complex systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases for data platforms and pipelines
  • Validate data accuracy and consistency across ETL processes, data lakes, and warehouses
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to understand requirements and clarify test objectives
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and support timely resolution
  • Document test results and maintain traceability of test coverage
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of manual testing experience, with a focus on data platforms
  • Proficient in SQL for data validation and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ETL testing and data quality checks
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail
  • Exposure to automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
